Once despaired by the existence of demons, Kendra has now become a hunter. Early into her promising career, she and her squad are charged with infiltrating a demon laboratory headed by Onaga, the first fallen angel, in search of their missing comrades. When they uncover what befell them, Kendra discovers a new depth to the darkness within Eden, and she fears what it may become.
With the Hunters’ dwindling numbers and morale, they have made it their mission to find Onaga and put an end to his ambitions, but this is a monumental task to accomplish, especially when they suspect that an imposter is compromising their every action. No longer able to distinguish who is their friend or foe, the future looks increasingly bleak.
Revelations unfurl, and now, Eden must contend with his past to prevent a harrowing future. The incessant fear of being imprisoned again haunts his waking steps, and Kendra vies to pull him from the darkness he is regressing into before it is too late. Who they trust and who they kill will determine whether Onaga's insatiable greed will consume not only Eden—but the entirety of existence itself.
