About
Eric Still is a dark fantasy and horror author based out of Los Angeles, California. Most wouldn't know it upon first meeting him, but Eric is autistic, and he is quite proud of the tribulations he has overcome. In fact, he has turned it into his super power, channeling his hyperfixation in order to craft his stories and efficiently utilize his creativity! Eric decided to become an author due to his natural love for writing and poetry, and his deep desire to tell stories around lore he has created for over a decade. His love for all that is dark and macabre naturally spurred his desire to write within a genre that combined fantastical and horrifying machinations alike.
His hobbies include playing video games, reading (obviously), hiking, going to concert, attending goth venues (was it mentioned he's goth? Did his black cat make it obvious?), and spending time with his friends in general. He greatly enjoys meaningful conversations covering philosophy and can monologue for hours on a topic he's passionate and cares about!
He draws inspiration from several sources, from the dark world of Marvel's Blade to the Young Adult mythologies of Percy Jackson, video games like Skyrim, God of War, and Dead Space, and anime such as Re:Zero, Dragon Ball, and Full Metal Alchemist. He is certain that, if one is so discerning to catch them, they can glean several references throughout his books!
